Project components

The Minkouma power project includes several components, as follows:

• A hydroelectric power plant on the Sanaga River with an installed capacity of 240 to 300 MW
• A 50 MW solar power plant, expandable to 300 MW
• A 225/90/30 kV generating substation at Minkouma
• A 225 kV transmission line from Minkouma –Ntui (16.5 km).
• A 90 kV transmission line from Minkouma – Nkoteng (37 km).
• A 90/30 kV substation at Nkoteng.
• Grid connection facilities for high-voltage (HV) customers.
